The Met Gala and the 77th Cannes Film Festival came to an end with the notable presence of Indian actors, celebrities, and digital content creators. These international events served as a testament to the enduring elegance of the saree. The essence of India was beautifully portrayed through the enchanting traditional outfits, whether it was Alia Bhatt's mesmerizing net saree that garnered attention or Aimee Brauha's graceful Makhela Chador reflecting her cultural roots. These women elegantly showcased the enduring charm of the saree.

1.Alia Bhatt captivated everyone's attention at the Met Gala 2024 with her majestic appearance in a stunning Sabyasachi Mukherjee saree. The intricately designed saree, meticulously handcrafted by 163 skilled artisans over a span of 1965 man hours, truly showcased the essence of timeless fashion. The detailed hand embroidery on the sari, which included silk floss, beads, and shimmering semi-precious stones, captivated viewers worldwide.

2 . ​Assamese actress Amiee Baruah wore a stunning traditional Mekhela Chador made of pure Muga silk at the 77th Cannes Film Festival. This attire beautifully showcases India's rich textile heritage. The entire ensemble was carefully crafted from Muga silk yarn, which is harvested during the months of October, November, and December. Muga silk is well-known for its luxurious golden hue and natural sheen.It took almost two months to complete this exquisite piece.

This young girl amazed everyone with her appearance and the costumes that she personally created.
